I'm gonna leave you alone with my photos by sharing a wonderful song by Interpol and a quote from one of my favorite writer. All those are tell NYC. So it's time I had to make a city post getting away from small town life ;) Have a nice weekends !

"Manhattan. Sometimes from beyond the skyscrapers, across thousands of high walls, the fearful cry of a too-well-known voice finds you in your insomnia in the middle of the night, and you remember that this desert of iron and cement is an island of un-reality."

Albert Camus - American Journals

MET'i bitirmeden, iyice sindirmeden NY'tan ayrilmak istemiyorum o yuzden vakit buldukca gormedigim galerileri ziyaret etmek istiyorum.

I don't wanna leave NY without visiting all galleries of MET so I'm trying to visit the ones I haven't found time to see.

Ne yalan soyleyeyim iceriye girip koklama firsatim olmadi ama Istanbu'u raflarda gormek beni mutlu etti.

I don't wanna lie that I couldn't smell the perfume but I felt happy when I saw Istanbul over the stand.

A Tourist in New York City

Whenever spring comes to New York I can't stand the suggestion of the land that come blowing over the river from New Jersey and I've got to go. So I went. Jack Kerouac

Buraya gelmemin uzerinden 9 ay gecti ve ben ozgurluk anitina yeni gitim, New York'a Empire State'in tepesinden ilk defa baktim...

I'm sure when spring comes everywhere in the world turn out to be heaven. But I'm one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I'm inviting you to NYC spring. We spent all our weekend as if we are writing and article "how to be a tourist in NYC." After spent 9 months in New York, I've just seen Statue of Liberty, I've just been top of the Empire State and look at the city from top... Maybe it's because we don't accept being a tourist wherever we go in the world...

MET'teki sergi muhtesemdi ve ozellikle NY'a geldiginizde MET'in Islamic Art bolumunde yeni acilan the art of arab lands galerilerini gezmenizi tavsiye ederim.

After these photos I separated NY as ground and sky. Looking from top to bottom made me realize in what kind of place I'm living.

Ve MoMa haftalardir gitmeyi dort gozle bekledigim Cindy Sherman ve Diego sergileri.

MoMa and the exhibitions of Cindy Sherman and Diego that I was looking forward to see.

Ve biraz da alisveris...
And a little bit of shopping...

Lastly couple of pics from Statue of Liberty. I think I m looking too chic as a regular tourist but I have an excuse ; we were invited a dinner :)
