Windowsill

Bugunlerde hava cok guzel. Aslinda oyle de gimesini umuyorum en azindan Ekimi bitirene kadar. Ama Floransa'da gecirdigimiz son gunumuzde hava pek umdugumuz gibi olmadi ve hic beklenmedik anda bastiran yaz yagmuruyla birlikte bizde kendimizi guzel otel odamizda gezimize birkac saat mola vermis,  dinlenir halde bulduk. Oda o kadar huzurluydu ki, hemen pencerenin kenarina oturup yagan agir yagmur esliginde yoldan gelen gecen, ustu basi sirilsiklam olmus insanlara bakarak sehri biraz daha hissettim. Keske elimde de bir fincan sutlu kahvem olsa diye icimden gecirmedim degil hani ;) Daha sonra madem odada oturuyoruz bos bos birkac fotograf denemesi yapalim dedik ve bunlar ortaya cikti. Ben yine paylasmakta tereddut ettim ama arkadasimin israrina dayanamadim. Umarim begenirsiniz....

These days weather is really nice and I hope it's gonna keep saving this attitude for a long time, at least till the end of this month. Bu in our last day in Florence, it was not as we expected and we found ourselves in our hotel room giving a short break to our visit and resting. The room was so peaceful that, I couldn't stop myself going to windowsill and by watching people became soaking wet by rain, I felt the city more. Then I said, as we were doing nothing in this beautiful room, why we weren't taking some pics and here is the result. Even though I hesitate to share these pics, my friend was too insistent about it so I hope you'll like them....

So 70's !

Daha once soylemis miydim bilmiyorum ama benim icin blog yazmanin avantajlarindan birisi de olmak istedigim butun kimliklere burunebiliyorum. Mesela bu postumda biraz da olsa Janis Joplin olmak, 70lerden cikip gelen, bir doneme adini vermis cicek cocuklardan biri gibi gorunmek o istedim... Cunku her zaman ne giyersem giyeyim bir hippie ruhu tasidigima inanirim ve yasadigim yerin Woodstock'a olan yakinligi bunu daha da gercek kiliyor... 


I don't know if I talked about it before or not but for me one of the advantages of writing a blog is having a chance to be whoever I want. For example in this post I wanted to be a Janis Joplin or one of the hippie girls from 70's... Because always doesn't matter what I wear, I always believe that I carry even a little bit hippie soul and living so close to Woodstock makes it more real...

One full day in NYC

Hava guzelse siradan bir pazar gunu New York'ta ne yapilir derseniz ben biraz galerileri gezer, biraz magazalara bakinir sonra da dergimi, kitabimi, yiyecek icecegimi, muzigimi alip bir Central Park klisesi yapardim derdim ki dun iste aynen oyle gunlerden biriydi. Hava cok guzeldi once 39. sokak 9. ve 10. caddeler arasindaki bita pazarinda dolastik, daha sonra da Whitney Muzesinde de bir Bienal vardi ki gorulmeye degerdi. Ordan cikip Madison'da biraz gezinip ne yesek derken Shake Shack'a gitmeye karar verdik ki oda ayri bir NY klisesidir. Buraya gelip Shake Burger yemeden doneyim falan demeyin birde ev yapimi limonata isteyin mutlaka. Bu yediklerimizi eritmek gerek diyerekten Central Park'a gidip biraz yuruyus yapalim dedik. Yuruyus bitti ama gun bitmedi tabii ben Ny'ta gunu Soho'ya ugramadan bitirmem mutlaka magazalara bakinilicak ufak tefek te olsa biseyler alinacak. Neyse artik Soho'da gunu bitirdik, Standart Hotel'de geceye basladik. Hemen orada guzel kapali bir bahce goreceksiniz iceriden kalabalik insan sesleri gelicek soyle bir kafanizi iceriye uzatacaksiniz ve Biergarten' e girmeden edemeyeceksiniz ve ickinizi alip sira sira dizili masalardan birine oturunca aslinda ortamin Asmali'ya ne kadar benzedigini hissedip turist modunuzdan kurtulacaksiniz. Iste size NY'ta kocaaa bir gun. Simdi izninizle pilimi pirtimi toplayip South Beach'e dogru yol alayim malum uzun bir gun gecirdim, gunesle ve denizle randevuma gecikmemem lazim ! Yarin Miami'den ilk postumu yapiyor olacagim, takipte kalin ! 

If you ask what would you do in sunny sunday in NYC, I would probably say ; visiting some galleries, a little bit window shopping and then grab my magazines, book, music and some snacks and enjoy with sun in Central Park that yesterday was one of those days. Weather was wonderful first we went to flea market in 39.street btw 9.th and 10. ave. , then we visited the spectacular Bienal in Whitney Museum. After then while wandering around Madison Ave. we realized we were starving and decided to eat at Shake Shack. This place is one of the must eat places. So if you come to NYC one day don't leave without trying Shake Burger and home made lemonade ! To burn all those calories, we went and walked around Central Park. Then as a ritual for me before end the day going Soho and shopping little bit. So we did so ! After end the day we went to Standart Hotel to start the night. 
when you arrive there you will se big indoor place and also you will hear the voices. It's the voice of crowd and liveliness ! So don't wait to enter to Biergarten ! Here is a long and full day in NYC. Now if you don't mind I want to grab my everything and go to South Beach. As you all know it was long day for me so I don't want to miss my date with sun and sea ! Tomorrow I ll be writing from Miami so stay tuned !

Cut off Finger

Sonunda beklenen misafir geldi, sinavlarim bitti ve 1 haftalik mukemmel bir tatile hazirim. Bu arada sizleri de unutmadim ve hemen yeni bir outfit postu hazirlayayim istedim. Uzuuun kararsizliklardan sonra cok enteresan bir tatil plani yaptik ; Miami ve Montreal i birbirine karistirip hem usuyelim hemde yuzelim guneslenelim istedik. Umarim hasta olmadan sagligimizi kaybetmeden doneriz. Tabi her tatil kucuk sakarliklar ve talihisizlikler yakami birakmadigi icin bu tatil oncesinde de fotograflarda gorecegniz uzere parmagimi bi guzel kestim. Neyse ki bikac gunum daha var iyilesir heralde. Hepnize harika bir haftasonu diliyorum !

Finally my expected and missed guest arrived, all exams finished and I m ready for amazing one week vacation. By the way I didn't forget you all and I made new outfit post. Anyway after long indecisions we made really strange holiday route; mixing Miami and Montreal together, we decided to swim, sunbath and also cold . I hope we will able to come back healthful. Of course as a tradition for every holiday unluckinesses is not leaving me alone and I cut my finger deeply. Hopefully I have couple days to go and I think everything will be fine till that time. Have nice weekend for all !

Fake sun !

Havanin gunesli gorundugune bakmayin. Sicak odamdan disariya bakarken tertemiz gokyuzune ve camimdan iceriye izinsiz sizan gunese aldanip sadece bir hirkayla ativerdim kendimi disariya. Ve yine verilen sozlere sualsizce aldanip, sonrasinda hayal kirikligina ugramis gibi usuyerek sicak odama yeniden dondum... Su havalarda olmasa konusacak hic birsey olmayacak sanki degil mi ?

Don't believe how weather looks sunny. While I was looking outside from my window of my warm room to the blue sky and the sun shining through my face unexpectedly, suddenly I grabbed my cardigan and went out. Surely, it didn't take so long to understand how the weather is cold and then I turned back my warm and safe room feeling myself as if someone given promises but ends with disappointments. Don't you think if there would be no weather condition, what we would have been talking about ?

Sun-Day

Bugunlerde gunesi gordugumuz gibi kendimizi disarilara atiyoruz soguk kis gunlerinin verdigi uyusuklugu uzerimizden atmak istercesine... Itiraf ediyorum bu dunyadaki en tembel bloggerim. Ama sanirim havalardan olacak butun motivasyonumu kaybetmis durumdayim. Bir seyi istemeden yapinca da hemen bagirarak kendini belli ediyor zaten. Ozaman beni odamdan disariya cikarmaya tesvik eden yalanci gunese tesekkurlerimi borc biliyor,  artik bahar gelsin, yaz gelsin, cicekler acsin diyenler el kaldirsin diyorum ! 

Nowadays, as soon as we see the sun, as if we are trying to throw over our numbness of cold winter days, we take ourselves out. I confess that I'm the laziest blogger all over the world. But I think because of the weather I lost all my motivation and you know if you do something without enthusiasm, it shows itself easily. So, thank to this fake sun to make me feel going out from my room and raise your hands if you want spring and summer back !
