Alacati

Sanirim hayatimin en uzun ilk ve son tatilini yapiyorum. Her sey o kadar ritminde ki oncelikle bol guneslenmeli anneye babaya kardese doymali yapilan tatile nisanli (ki bu kelimeye hala alismis degilim) da katilinca duragan sakin tatil olur bir anda senlik solen. Simdi aynen oyle yatmalar bitti, gezmeler basladi; haa sikayet ettigimi saniyorsaniz yaniliyorsunuz her sey daha yeni basliyor :) Ilk olarak Alacati dan baslayalim. Oncelikle ilk defa gittigim icin icimde hep bir pismanlik ve merak vardi haliyle. Neden daha once gidemedim diye dusunurken aslinda cok abartmamam gerektigini anladim. Kesinlikle Universal studyolarindaymissiniz hissini veren mimarisiyle gorulmesi gereken bir yer. Her sokagi ayri tarih olan bu sirin kasabada kendinizi kaybetmemeniz imkansiz. Ama benim deniz tatili anlayisim denize yakinlikla dogru orantili oldugundan bazi beklentilerimi karsilamasa da harika iki gun gecirdigimizi inkar edemem. 

I think I'm in my first but last, long holiday. Everything was so periodic with my family that arrival of my fiancé changed everything. Again we found ourself in short trip. But, be sure it's not gonna be last.  Still, let's start with Alacati. Before I arrive I had two strong feeling; regret and excessive curiosity. I feel regretful that why I become too late to visit this lovely town and feel curious about what is waiting for me. Alacati is somewhere you should definitely visit. With its Greek architecture and cute shops/restaurants, it is a place gives you the same feeling as if you're in Universal Studios. But my understanding of sea holiday is should be in direct proportion with the location of the sea. So, the long distances between sea and the center could be bothersome but still this is was not bottleneck to spend two happy days in this lovely place. 

Asma Yapragi is one of the best restaurants you should really taste Aegean Cuisine.

Random Access Memories

Butun bir yil boyunca yazin gelmesini bekler dururum. Butun bir yil ilk defa gorecegim yerlerin, hic girmedigim denizlerin, yeni baslayacagim kitaplarin hayalini kurarim. Yaz icin konulan hedeflerim yoktur bir hamakta sallanir gibi gecsin ama bitmesin isterim yaz. Karpuzun tadi damagimda kalsin, butun bir kis bir diger yazi hayal etmem icin bana tazelik, canlilik versin isterim o tat. Girdigim denizler gibi duru olsun her yaz yeter bana. Bu yazi sevdiklerime ayirdigim kadar kendime de ayirdim. Biraz bencillik yapip annemle aksamustu deniz sefasi yerine kosmayi tercih ettim. Kisin tembelligini uzerimden attim, vucuduma olan saygimi artirdim. Bu yaz suanda cok sakin, oldugum yerdeyim, bir sure daha kalmaya meyilliyim, sonrasinda beni bekleyen telastan habersiz...

Birde kosarken, evde birseylerle mesgulken hep ayni albumu dinliyorum Daft Punk : RAM. Get Lucky coktan favorimdi aylardir defalarca dinledigim gibi, her yerde paylasip durdum simdi ise Instant Crush'a takmis durumdayim. Kac tekrar yapiyorum kim bilir. Fotograflarla iyi gider diye dusundum. Hepinize iyi tatiller!!!

All winter long, I long for the summer. I dream about the places first time I'll have been , seas I've never swim and the books I'm gonna start. I have no goals for summer. I just wish it pass as swinging on hammock and not end so quickly. I'd like to eat enough water melon  feel the taste all year long to give me enthusiasm to dream for the next summer. Anyway I dedicate this summer to myself as much as my family. Being a bit selfish, I preferred running than swimming with my mum on the evenings. So, summer passes calmly and first time in my life ,for a long time, I'm fixed somewhere and it'll go on like this for a while.... Similarly there is something else I've been fixed for a long time. I'm talking about Daft Punk: RAM. since the album released and I downloaded it, while I'm running or doing something at home, I've been listening the same songs.  Get Lucky has already became one of my favorite and I can not stop dancing when it plays. But nowadays I have another one "Instant Crush". I don't know how many times I play it in a day. I thought it goes well with the summer diary of me. Happy holidays all of you !!!

New Beginnings

Once iliskimizin ciddilesmesi, nisan, mezuniyet, bambaska bir ulkenin bambaska bir sehrinde is hayati... Her ne kadar kendimi tatilin buyusune kaptirmis sanki bu yeni hayat, yeni insanlar, yeni bir cevre beni beklemiyormus gibi umarsizda gunesin, denizin, kumun tadini cikartsamda arada bir urpermiyor degilim. Belki bir cogunuz bilmiyorsunuz ekimde bir seneligine Ingilizce ogretmenligi yapacagim Strazburg'a tasiniyorum. Icimde yeni insanlarla tanisacak olmanin verdigi heyecana iyi kotu fransizcamin gelisecegi dusuncesi eklenince bu urperti kaybolup yerini heyecanla karisik keyifli bir ruh haline birakiyor. Fotograflarda goreceginiz ben ise nisan yemegimizde, yine bu karisik ruh hallerinden birinden sizleri selamliyorum; hafif heyecanli, cok mutlu, telasli ve kesinlikle hazir ! 

Getting into a serious relationship, engagement, graduation and then being a teacher in a foreign city of foreign country... This october I'll start my career in Strasbourg as an English teacher.  I still enjoy with 3s ; sun, sea, sand but sometimes I feel little quiver when I think about the new environment, people and life waiting for me. But I know myself and how changes always make me excited and how I adore innovations. Similarly, you will see the same mood on the pictures of our engagement dinner; slightly excited, so happy, hectic and definitely ready for this new life ! 

Although some family members are missing, I love this mixture and feel lucky to have such a big and perfect family!

Graduation

Even sonunda gelebildim. Sanirim hic bukadar ara vermemistim ama hem ruhen hem de bedenen bu araya o okadar cok ihtiyacim oldugunu farketmisim ki. Bilgisayari elime aldigimda klavyeme alismak biraz zaman aldi diyebilirim. Yoklugum sirasinda kardeslerimle ve ailemle doyasiya vakit gecirdim, valiz yerlestirip, bosalttim geriye kalan vakitlerde ise bol kitap okuyup denizin kumun gunesin tadini cikarttim tabi birde bildiginiz gibi araya 4 gunluk bir Paris gezisi de girmedi degil ( o konuyu bir sonraki postta paylasacagim). Ama su son bir hafta adeta film gibiydi. 7 gune bir nisan ( benim nisanim), bir mezuniyet (benim mezuniyetim ), bir dugun ( cocukluk arkadasim evlendi) ve son olarak ise bir cenaze (endiselenmeyin yakinlarimdan biri degil) sigdirmayi basarn ben kendimi adeta bir Kusturica filminde hissettigim bir haftadan yeni yeni cikiyorum. Neyse daha fazla icinizi skmadan mezuniyetleriyle kendinden cok soz ettiren ODTU ile bir kez daha guru duydum  ve bu torenlerin en onemlilerinden birinde bulunarak bu ayricaliga sahip oldugum icin cok mutluyum. Izninizle sizlerle paylasmak istiyorum.
Son olarak lutfen kimse kirilmasin ama ODTU'lu olmak ayricaliktir !

Here I'm. I guess I've never leave here alone that much so far. But I believe I really deserve and need it. While I'm away from blogsphere, I was busy preparing and empty my bags, spending time with my family and rest of the time enjoying on the beach by reading book. I don't even talk about four-day Paris trip (it's another post's topic). But this week was like a Kusturica film; one engagement(mine), one graduation(mine), one wedding(my childhood friend) and one funeral (don't worry not from close family). Anyway, I'm not here to make you exhausted. On the contrary I'm here to show you what a privilege graduating from METU. Every year it's graduation ceremony is so special but this year was even more special and I'm so happy being on this special ceremony. 
Lastly; Being a student of METU is privilege !
