Villa Borghese

Tekrar yogun bir sinav donemine girdigimden bir sonraki postumu yapmam bir haftayi bulacagi icin buldugum ilk bos vakitte ilk Roma postunu yapayim dedim. Ogleden sonra yari hangover yari uykusuz vardigimiz Roma'da, bizi yormayacagi gibi huzur verecegini dusundugumuz Villa Borghese'e gitmeye karar verdik. Once o muazzam bahcesinde biraz dolastik temiz havayi icimize cekip gun batimini izledikten sonra, icinde Bernini'nin David'i , Apollo ve Defne'si gibi bircok degerli eseri barindiran Borghese Gallery de gunu bitirmeye karar verdik. Her sey o kadar muazzam ve bir sure sonra her seye okadar alisiyorsunuz ki muhtesemligin siradanligi bu olsa gerek diyerek fotograflara geciyorum ve hepinize muhtesem bir haftasonu diliyorum.

Because I'm going near through a busy final week, I don't know when I'm gonna able to prepare a new post. Now I trapped a little time so here is the first post from Rome. After arriving Rome in a shape half hangover and half sleepy, we decided to go somewhere peaceful like Villa Borghese. First we wandered around in its wonderful garden and watched the sunset, then we decided to end the day in Borghese Gallery hosts of lots of worthy and talented works such as Bernini's David, Apollo and Daphne... Everything is just so perfect that after a while you get used to this excellence and I think this is the mediocrity of excellence. So here are the pics people. Opera Night in Paris

Roma'ya yeni ulasmis, disariya cikip sokaklarinda kendimi henuz kaybetmemisken bir Paris postu yayinlayayim istedim. O gun tarihi Opera binasinda harika bir bale gosterisi izledik. Kucukken hep bale yapmak isteyip, nedense kendimi bes yil boyunca jimnastik salonlarinda bulan biri olarak bir gunlukte olsa bana kendimi balerin gibi hissettiren bu sortumla ve hic vakit kaybetmeden giydigim chanel babetlerimle geceye hazirdim. Voila ! Iste sonuc.

Just arrived in Rome. But before I lose myself on the streets of Rome, I have a new post for you from a wonderful Opera day in Paris. That day we watched an amazing contemporary ballet in a historical building. When I was a child, although I wanted to be ballerina, I found myself in a gymnastics for five years. That's why I wanted to wear this short and chanel ballerinas to feel even a little bit like a ballerina. Voila ! Here is the result.

Christmas Gifts

Christmas aksami yemegimiz her zaman ki gibi harikaydi. Ailenizle yediginiz hangi yemek kotu olabilir ki. Ama yediginiz lezzetli yemeklerin, ictiginiz en guzel sarabin ve bulundugunuz o sicacik ortamin yaninda bu gunu ozel yapan bir sey daha var: hediyeler. Herkesi cocuklar gibi mutlu eden o renkli paketler. Simdi sizinle onlari paylasma vakti. 

Christmas eve was amazing as usual. Which dinner could be bad if your all family on that table ? But beyond delicious foods, vine and the warm atmosphere there is another thing makes this day special : Presents ! Colorful boxes makes everybody happy like a child. Now it's time to share what I given.

Christmas

Birkac blogger arkadasim hem bloga yorum yazarak hemde konustugumuzda nasil oldugumu, blogumda post goremeyince, meraklandiklarini nerelerde ne yapiyor oldugumu sormuslardi. Bende buradan ayrintili cevap vereyim dedim bugunlerde o kadar yogundum ki sinavlarim, odevlerim ve sunumlarimla, sadece onlara odaklanmak istedim ki sonrasinda yapacagim her seyi hak edeyim icim rahat olsun diye, kosusturdum hep neyse ki bu postu yapabilmek icinse son sinavimin bitmesini bekledim yani bugunu. Onumde beni bekleyen 10 gunluk guzel bir tatil var. Yarin Christmas icin Paris'e ucuyorum. Yeni yil icinse Jb ile Roma'da olacagiz. Simdiden sabirsizlaniyorum ve son olarak sunlari soylemek istiyorum: Bundan uc yil once Christmas kutlamak nedir bilmeyen ben bir kac gun sonra ikinci ailem dedigim insanlarla yeniden, ucuncu kez kutlayacagim bu ozel gunu. Christmas'in onlar icin olan anlami ile benimki arasinda farklar olsa da, Jb ve ailesiyle gecirdigim zamanlar, hep beraber masaya oturdugum o ozel aksamin yemegi beni hem mutlu hem de onlari cok ozel kilmaya yetiyor. Gecen sene bu zamanlar hediyelerimi secmek icin ciktigim NY sokaklarinda karsilastim Christmas heyecanina, bu sene bu Paris'te devam edecegim. Bakalim Paris sokaklarinda beni neler bekliyor olacak Christmas oncesi. Eminim bu kez daha farkli olacak cunku kendi agacimizi alip, guzelce susleyecegimiz bir gun bizi bekliyor. Tabi birde yerde acik dolmayi bekleyen bir valiz...

Ozaman bu aptal sarki surekli dans eder sekilde yurudugum bugun icin gelsin:)

Until these last three years, I haven't celebrated any Christmas. But after couple of days I'll be celebrating and having a wonderful dinner for the third time with the special people I call as a second family. Even though Xmas have not same deep meaning for me as they have, these special people are enough to make xmas special for me. It's a great pleasure sitting at the same table and being with JB and his wonderful family. Last year I coincide with the xmas fever in NY streets while I was wandering around to select present for them. Let's see what's waiting for me this time in Paris streets. I'm sure this time it will be different because a wonderful day is waiting for us that we gonna have our own xmas tree and ornaments.  As well a luggage waiting to be filled...

One more weekend in Istanbul

Bildiginiz gibi birkac hafta once Istanbul'daydim. Sevgilimle bulusmanin yani sira bircok sevdigimle de bulusma firsati yakaladim. Ama sevgilime de, arkadaslarima da, Istanbul'a da doyamadan geri dondum buralara. Istanbul'a her geldigimizde bir cok guzel etkinlik karsiliyor bizi ve bu kisa ziyaretlerimize inanilmaz tatlar veriyor. Bu kez Contemporary e gitme firsati bulamasakta Topkapi Sarayi'ndaki Cin ordusunun topraktan askerlerini gorme sansi yakaladik. Eee Topkapi'ya gidip, hareme de goz atmadan gelmek olmazdi. Gökkusagini  yakalamak ise gunumuze farkli bir anlam katan seylerden bir tanesi oldu. 

As you know I was in Istanbul couple weeks ago. Besides meeting with my bfriend I had a chance to see people I love. But these meetings were not enough and turned back here again. Each time Istanbul welcomes us with new events and these are enough to makes different our each visit . Although we couldn't find enough time to visit Contemporary Istanbul, we had a chance to see wonderful exhibition called "Terra Cotta Warriors" of Chinese army at Topkapi Palace. As we were already in Topkapi Palace, it was inevitable to visit "Harem" so we did. Lastly, rainbow that up in the air was another beauty made our day.

100th Post

Farkettim ki sizlere 100. postumu yaziyormusum. Madem ozel bir post yapiyorum siradan bir outfit postu degil de aylardir paylasmaya vakit bulamadigim, Amerika'da fotografci bir arkadasimin arkadasinin tasarladigi kiyafetlerle yaptigimiz cekimden kalma fotograflardan paylasmak istedim. Umarim begenirsiniz.
