Siena day 2

Siena sokaklarinda kaybolusumuzun ikinci gunune sahit olacaksiniz ey okurlar. Bu birkac gunu cok yogun gecirdigimden yeni post yapamadim ama durmak yok bir suru post bizi bekler ama hep Italya olmasin diye araya supriz postlar koymayi planliyorum. Neyse gelelim ikinci gune, ilk gun genelde kesfetmekle gecer ikinci gun ise biraz daha alisirsin sehrin sokaklarina, yollarina. Bizde de aynen oyle oldu ama bu kez gunun eglencesi, her sokagini agzi acik gezdigimiz Siena'ya birazda tepeden bakalim dedik. Merdivenleri cikarken aklimdaki tek soru hala bu kadar etkileyici olabilek miydi. Evet hala okadar etkileyici siz ne dersiniz ?

Now you readers, you gonna witness our 2nd day in Siena. I was a bit busy these couple of days that's why I couldn't make a post but still I have lots of pics waiting for you. Also I'm planning to make a surprise posts other than Italy pics. Anyway let's talk about second day. When you go to a country or a city you spend first day generally by discovering the city's streets and roads as we did. But this time today's fun was view from above of Siena we fall in love every street of it. While I was climbing the stairs the only question in my mind was is it still going to be impressive from above as well. Yes, it was amazing. What do you think ?

Siena

Evet gel gelelim Siena gunluklerine. Pisa benim icin her ne kadar fast food tadindaysa Siena da bi okadar tadi yillarca damagimda kalacak, her zaman yeme sansimiz olmayan o lezzetli yemeklerdendi. Veya hazir Toskanadayken sarap benzetmesi de yapabiliriz. Pisa ucuz bir Chianti sarabi olsun Siena ise bir okadar lezzetli Burunello di Montalcino. Neyse benzetmeler bitmez. Size ne Sienanin tarihinden ne de yenilecek icilecek yerlerinden bahsedicem. Bunu cok iyi yapan blogger arkadaslarimin ve rehber kitaplarin oldugunu bildigim icin icim rahat. Eger Siena'ya yolunuz duserse gece yada gunduz farketmez buldugunuz her sokaga girin, adeta bir meditasyon gibi bir muddet durun etrafiniza bakin ve her bir kosesindeki tarihi hissedin....

It's time to talk about Siena. As I told you for me while Pisa is like a fast food, Siena is like an amazing meal you will be unable to forget the delicious flavor of it. Even I can say if Pisa is a Chianti wine, Siena is one of the delicious wine of the world Burunello di  Montalcino. Anyway metaphors never end. Actually I don't wanna talk about history or places where to go, eat or drink because I know that there are lots of bloggers and travel guides doing this successfully so I'm pretty comfortable about it. But the only think that I can say about Siena is If you have chance to go there one day, doesn't matter day or night,  enter every street of and like a meditation stop, calm down and look at the history waiting for you in every corner...

Pisa

Eylul geldi catti, ilk haftasini bitirecegiz bile ama sanirim eylul sonuna kadar ben hala sizlere yazlik outfitlerle postlar yapiyor olacagim. Acikcasi benim icin hic sorun yok sortlari jeanlere tercih edenlerdenim . Neyse sonbahar yaz kis ilkbahar demeden ben gezime devam ediyor ve simdi ilk sirada sizlere Pisa'dan bahsediyorum.Italya'nin en onemli sembollerinden biri haline gelmis, kucuk bir sehir olan Pisa icin sabahin cok erken saatlerinde havaalani yollarina dustuk. Fotograflardan goreceginiz uzere uykusuzlugun vermis oldugu hafif bir dagilmislik soz konusu. Aslinda Pisa hakkinda pek bahsedecekte bir sey yok diyebilirim ve sanirim hissettiklerimi en iyi bir meteforla aciklayabilirim; FAST FOOD. Eger tatil anlayisiniz bir sehirde bikac gece gecirip o sehrin havasini suyunu azicik da olsa hissetmekse Pisa onlardan biri degil. Her bir kosesinde turist goreceginiz mumkun oldugunca erkenden ziyaret etmeniz gereken ve ardindan da hemen baska bir sehire (mesela Siena gibi:) kacacaginiz bir yer bana gore Pisa. Biz de bunu dusunup hem sicak hemde kalabalik turist kafileleri bastirmadan gezimizi yapip, fotograflarimizi cekip, sehirde biraz tur atip, oglen yemegimizi yedikten sonra ayrildik. Hic bir sey yok dediysem sakin yanlis anlamayin cok sevdim Pisa'yi ozellikle guzel mimarili katedrallerini. Ve herkese gidip gormesini kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum ama sizi bekleyen daha guzel yerler varken fazla da vakit harcamayin derim ;) .  Bir sonraki post asik oldugum sehir Siena'dan takipte kalin besinci kat misafirleri ;)

Well, it's already September and I think I'll still be posting summer outfits till the end of this month. But for sure there is no problem for me at all, I always prefer shorts than jeans. Anyway no matter which season it is,  I'm gonna continue my travel-outfit posts and now I wanna talk about Pisa and the leaning tower.  Even though it's one of the most important symbols of Italy, it's pretty small city. So except tower and beautiful cathedrals, there is not that much of to talk because if you want to stay in a city for a couple of days and feel the soul of that place, for me Pisa is not one of them. If I use a metaphor for pisa I would say FAST FOOD. I think those are the best words to tell my observation. But still don't think that I didn't like also I highly recommend you to go see this beautiful place. But don't spend too much time while there are lots of beautiful places are waiting for you.  I believe all these tourists are  too much for a small city like this. So if you don't want to visit this city with lots of people, as we did, go there early in the morning and then after you do almost everything in there escape to another city like Siena :) Next post will be about Siena so stay tuned 5th floor guests ;)

Getaria

Evet hala Italya'dayim ama sizi postsuz birakmiyorum :p  Ispanya'nin bask bolgesinden son olarak Getaria'yi yaziyorum sizlere. Getaria'ya varmadan once tek merak ettigim sey Balenciaga muzesiydi ama sehre vardiktan sonra dikkatinizi dagitan okadar cok yapi ve guzellik var ki birden muzenin heyecanini unutum ve bu kucuk, sirin sehrin sokaklarinda, kilisesinde kendimi kaybettim. Zaten muze sehrin en tepesinde oldugu icin gidene kadar her yeri gezmis olduk. Muzeye vardigimda ise gercekten bu kadar profesyonel bir yapi ve personel beklemiyordum. Muze de calisanlarin kiyafetlerinden tutun da mimarisine kadar her sey mukemmeldi. Ayrica ek olarak 1800lerden bugune plaj modasi sergisi vardi ki inanilmaz keyifliydi. Muzede pek fotograf cekmedim zaten ceksemde boluk porcuk olacakti hersey ya her seyi tek tek sizlere gosterecektim ya da hic, ben ikinci secenegi sectim o yuzden simdiden ozur diliyorum sizlerden ve bu guzel sehirle sizi basbasa birakip, gezime kaldigim yerden devam ediyorum.

Yes I'm still in Tuscany but my blog still alive :p This is my last post about basque country before Tuscany. This time I write about another Spanish city Getaria. Before I arrive to Getaria the only think that I was curious about was the Balenciaga Museum but after we arrive there are lots of beautiful striking buildings that it is impossible look around every street. Because museum was at the top of the city until we arrive there we almost finished everywhere of this cute, small city. I should admit that I wasn't expecting such a professional personal and constitution. Also there was an amazing swimwear exhibition from 1800s to today. I really enjoyed with this small city I hope you will like as well. Stay tuned !
